PC finally back up and running
I FINALLY got my PC back up and running (after over 12 reinstalls of windows that went TU on me at some point in the process). I'm still worried about the motherboard or CPU (at one point, I got a BIOS boot warning that the CPU was unworkable...but it cleared up after reseating everything).

Anyway, the count so far is that I have two bad hard drives. One is a 250GB SATA and the other is a 200GB SATA (both Maxtor). One good thing, is that both are fully under warranty by Maxtor and I'm getting them replaced. I have been VERY impressed with the online warranty replacement service from Maxtor. Just type in the serial number and it knows if it is under warranty or not. And they have a pretty good instruction/proceedure for replacement. I'm still trying to figure out how I lost TWO drives (totally separate RAID array/controllers).

Bad thing is that since both drives were part of a striped RAID array, I've lost a LOT of stuff. All my movies I've been editing comercials out of, etc. My complete collection of South Park videos...sigh.
