Singapore...
I'm spending 10 days in Singapore for work. Just sweated off about 10 lbs of water walking in what must be 100% humidity and about 90'F weather touring Orchard street malls and Lucky Plaza. I could lose weight over here pretty easily in atmosphere like this (not to mention the diet). I'm only on the 37th floor this time (instead of 69th, like I was back in 1998 when I was last here). Lucky Plaza is still just as crazy as I remembered it, and I forgot how much I hate malls (and Orchard Street is just one big long hot sticky mall...grin). A ton of absolutely useless stuff for sale (and over-priced), just like the malls in the US. The cheap plazas and arcades are mostly full of name brand Western clothing stores, camera/cell phone kiosks, Indian tailor shops, and fake Rolex watch and jewelry shops.
I do enjoy this country, however. It is very clean, and amazingly technologically advanced. The MRT/public transit system here is quite impressive. There is so much going on, that you simply don't even know where to begin to start exploring.
Trying out a new panoramic image sticher, called Panorama Factory of a view from my hotel, The Swissotel, Stampford.
